This dual-wavelength laser system utilizes two specific wavelengths—1927 nm and 1550 nm—and operates based on the principle of focused photothermal therapy. Each MTZ measures a mere 70–150 microns in diameter and reaches a depth of 400–700 microns; crucially, these zones are surrounded by intact, healthy tissue, thereby facilitating the rapid initiation of the skin's natural repair processes.

The 1550 nm laser possesses a moderate absorption coefficient for water, enabling it to penetrate deep into the dermis. It primarily addresses fine lines, wrinkles, and various types of scars by inducing the regeneration and remodeling of dermal collagen. Furthermore, it restores the normal alignment of elastic fibers, thereby effectively treating uneven pigmentation and ameliorating structural changes associated with photo-aged skin.


In contrast, the energy of the 1927 nm laser is predominantly deposited within the epidermis and the superficial dermis. Given its significantly higher absorption coefficient for water compared to the 1550 nm wavelength, it is particularly well-suited for treating epidermal conditions associated with sun damage—specifically, pigment spots and freckles.
